One shop, four cuisines
Behind the blue fascia on Barnton Street is a full oriental supermarket: five aisles of curry pastes, soy and vinegar, instant noodles by the boxful, frozen and dry goods, and a snack shelf that runs from pineapple cake to prawn crackers.
Customers travel for it. One family drives in from half an hour away, once a month, and says they have never left without what they came for — prices very reasonable, and the staff happy to point out where things live.
